Company History

Speech-language pathologist, Nadia Pelton, saw a need for professionals to improve their speaking, writing and interactional skills to succeed in business. In 1990, she established Accent on Communication as an educational institution and speech therapy clinic.

Accent on Communication provides customized workshops, seminars and speech therapy for individuals and small groups. Courses can be delivered on-site or at our downtown Calgary location. To accommodate our clients' busy schedules, we offer flexible training options such as telephone and internet consultation and distance conferencing.

As a certified educational institution, programs are tax deductible. In many cases, services are eligible for coverage through secondary insurance plans under professional speech therapy consultation.

Our Mission

In an atmosphere of trust, respect and confidentiality, Accent on Communication will provide our clients with tools that allow them to achieve their business, social and personal communication goals.

We will ensure that our clients attain new levels of communication effectiveness by using leading-edge technologies, current training methods, and best professional practices.
